Please note: Q Psych does not accept insurance toward payment of evaluations. Most evaluations consist of a clinical interview, testing, and feedback session to discuss results. 50% of the rate is due on the day of the clinical interview; the remaining balance is due at the time of the feedback session, when the report of findings is reviewed with the client.
Giftedness and school admissions testing offers individuals 8 years and older an opportunity to identify strengths and weaknesses via completion of cognitive ability (IQ) testing. Such testing is typically required for entrance into private schools or advanced placement programs. Even when not required, the results of cognitive testing can provide valuable insight into factors that influence memory, learning, and academic performance, allowing learning strategies to be tailored to one’s individual needs.
The assessment typically includes 1.5-2 hours of testing, followed by a review of results.
