**Assessment services are provided for individuals 8 years of age and older.
Psychological evaluations are conducted to provide clients with diagnostic clarity about emotional/social/behavioral challenges; whereas psychoeducational testing seeks to identify an individual's emotional and/or cognitive strengths and weaknesses that can impact them academically and/or in the workplace.
Forensic assessments are utilized by the courts to identify the presence, or absence, of factors that may have influenced the commission of a crime; or by law enforcement to assess the readiness of individuals to carry weapons in the course of their employment (e.g., police and correctional officers; armed security).
All testing includes a comprehensive clinical interview, relevant tests (e.g., emotional, behavioral, personality, cognitive, achievement, and/or self-report measures), and a report with recommendations (if applicable).
Two types of psychological assessment/testing are currently performed at QPsych:
PA Act 120 and Act 235 require that you complete a psychological evaluation by a licensed Pennsylvania psychologist. This includes a clinical interview and completing a personality assessment inventory. This process will typically take between 2.5 and 3 hours to complete. Contact us for rates and to get scheduled.
